Metal That Sounds Like Other Metal: Rip-Off Or Not? You Be The Judge

October 6, 2007

A registered YouTube user who goes by the name "BakNBlack" has posted a three-minute clip featuring hard rock/heavy metal tracks that sound like songs by other artists.

Says "BakNBlack": Y'ever hear a song and go, 'Man, that sounds just like...'? Well so did I. In fact, I found songs that not only sound like other songs, but they may as well practically BE those other songs! So, for your listening pleasure, I slapped them all together into a nice little slide show for you to listen and watch and go, 'Hey, you're absolutely right, BakNBlack, this video is so great I think I'll show all my friends and their friends and their friends, and I'll subscribe to your videos and send you $50 in the mail and...' Okay, maybe that's wishful thinking. But here you go anyway, free of charge, enjoy!"

Watch the clip below.
